Following a "bidding war" for the lease of this tiny ex-Whitbread market pub, the Gun was relaunched on 13th June 2014 by a new company - Locals Club. Their ambition is to build a small chain of 5-10 pubs in East London. The Gun is their first project although licensee Nick Stephens has 15 years' experience at the popular Lock Tavern in Camden. Despite its size, the Gun already attracts a vibrant and varied crowd. One handpump rotating mainly local beers. A range of keg taps dispense a chilled "craft" from Beavertown, Siren, Weird Beard, Pressure Drop and other contemporary favourites. The fridges are well stocked with London bottled beers.
