Historic old hotel with several rooms adjoining single bar. The Feathers Hotel has been an important part of Holt since it was established on the site of the old cattle market in 1650. During the 19th century the �Regulator� coach used to depart from the Hotel three times a week for the fourteen hour journey to London. Wifi is available in all guest rooms at no additional cost. The local brewery in the village, Box Steam, brews the house beer and usually two other regional beers are available. The food is recommended and there is a separate dining area adjacent to the bar and an upstairs private dining room. There is a large garden with country views and a Boules Court sponsored by Box Steam. Luxury en-suite rooms and a separate self-catering cottage are available. A heated marquee in the car park now allows for year round outside drinking and dining. The National Trust Courts Garden is a short walk away.
