Holcombe Farmshop and Kitchen opened in May 2021 after extensive refurbishment of the former pub. The drinking area is now confined to a small bar to the left of the building now known as 'The Duke' which has a contemporary feel. A dining area is next to the shop and kitchen which then opens out onto a large streamside deck in good weather. Situated on the southern edge of the village of Holcombe on the edge of the Mendip Hills in a fine walking area. The outdoor decked patio is on the banks of the Mell Stream. The pub is part of the Banwell House pub group of 4 pubs in and around Bath.

Description: Landmark village pub, convenient for walks to Peel Tower and other local footpaths. Appreciate the original Crown Brewery tiling in the porch area and the Sarcophogus dining room. Pub has recently been refurbished under new management, to remove the 'improvements' from the previous refurb, restoring the pub to its previous condition. The closing times for Sat & Sun are 'late' Reopened 4/7/2020
