Café-bar in a parade of shops sandwiched between a betting shop and a takeaway pizza parlour. The bar is to the right-hand side as you enter with two handpulls at the front. At least one cask ale is served, usually from Marston's, as well as keg lagers, and there are bottled beers in a fridge by the door. Laminate flooring, café style tables and chairs, stools at the bar and a table top Pacman machine all give something of a retro feel to the place. There is a large paved area at the back with a covered area for smokers.

A partial new build in very modern style, it's split level as the site is on the steep Ginnel. The lower section has the counter at the rear and in addition to two banks of tall keg fonts there are three handpumps in the centre of the bar back which occasionally serve one changing Rooster's beer. In addition to the draught beers there are fridges of world beers in bottle and can plus cocktails and the usual wines and spirits. Modern seating in various forms abounds on both levels. The ceiling is equipped with the usual present day decor of industrial fitments, heating ducts, cable tray, mesh and Edison bulbs. There is also excellent disabled access to toilets and all areas.

The tap room of the Harrogate Brewing Company, serving beers brewed on the premises, the brewery changed hands in early 2020 and additional brewing capacity has been added. Four changing Harrogate cask ales are served, as well as various keg options. NB. Contactless payments only. Beer ordering via Round app (if you cannot use the app, staff will take your order and contactless payment). Also note if drinking half-pints, check prices first as the brewery charges a considerable premium for half-pints as compared to pints. On weekdays and Saturdays limited bus services (8 and 22) stop outside, and on Sundays the number 7 service stops outside the Woodlands pub near the Yorkshire Showground. Starbeck Crossing for regular buses (1) to/from Harrogate and Knaresborough, or train service to/from Leeds and York, is only a 10 minute walk.
Cold Bath Brewing Co

Across the road from the Harrogate Convention Centre this is a conversion from commercial premises and as the name suggests houses a brewery at the rear of the bar on a mezzanine floor. Decorated in modern style with some unusual items, three handpulls serve cask ales from mostly Yorkshire breweries. Behind the copper topped counter are ten keg taps offering beers from Cold Bath and other UK and European brewers. The front terrace is equipped with bench tables.

New bar opened April 2019 in a shop unit opposite the bus station accessible from either Beulah Street or Station Parade. A long, narrow bar, it has some soft seating at each end in the windows, and stools at the bar with some standing room as well along the wall in the centre, there is also seating outside on Beulah Street. Framed photographic prints of local scenes, which are for sale, adorn the wall opposite the bar. Three handpumps serve three changing cask ales, always including a dark beer, and there are eight craft keg fonts; sometimes there are tap takeovers. NB This bar accepts card payments only, not cash. Branch Pub of the Year 2020.

Independent Harrogate restaurant and bar serving burgers and more as the name suggests, formerly situated in the Kimberley Hotel on Kings Road until March 2019, now moved in to the site that was formerly another Harrogate independent restaurant, Damn Yankee, since 1972. Only keg beers are available.

Tap room at the new Rooster's brewery in Hornbeam Park opened May 2019, three months in advance of the relocation of the brewery from its former Knaresborough site. Large open room with wooden bench tables, and to one side a large viewing window onto the brewery. There is an outdoor area at the rear with bench tables, some on hardstanding and some on a raised grass area. Serves eight cask ales, together with eight keg lines, and cans and bottles too, as well as a selection of wine, cider, spirits and soft drinks. See website for live feed of current cask and keg beers. A short walk from Hornbeam Park station, also situated on the Harrogate Ringway walking route.
