A pub since 1996, in its previous life it looks as if it might have been something along the lines of a Methodist church. A busy one-room pub which some thought has a passing resemblance to an "Irish lounge sports bar", with plenty of carpeting, comfortable seating, an area at the far end for music and the like. Whilst there used to be just the one cask beer likely to come from a national supplier, it seems (Feb 2019) that is no longer the case. Karaoke on Friday nights. The pub is likely to be open longer than the hours we publish eg to midnight on a Friday.

Royal Oak

Rebuilt in Elizabethan Revival style between 1891-3 this imposing pub is Locally Listed by Brent Council and has a mixed clientèle. It has a bar in front of an open kitchen and various entrances which indicate how, at one time, it would have been divided into several rooms. The Park Parade side entrance includes some impressive tiling including a tiled painting of a Parliamentarian trooper hunting for King Charles II after the Battle of Worcester in 1651 with Charles hiding in an oak tree. In Jan 2016 Urban Pubs & Bars leased the pub investing £300k adding a feature staircase (which leads to a hugely impressive upstairs room and bar) and the open kitchen. Four handpumps, although in October only three were in use.

Green Man

109 High Street, Harlesden NW10 4TS

Reopened. The Green Man and adjoining terrace were rebuilt on the site in 1906-1907 (architects Harrison and Ward) in Flemish style with wide flat arches at ground floor. The Green Man public house existed on the site in a different form as early as 1746. Grade II listed. Once a Fuller's pub, now trading as a bar serving the local Portuguese community, keg beer taps and bottled beer only.

Le Junction

Reopened 21 June 2014 having spent some time as Amber Grill. After another period of closure is now open again. Oct 2020 - our reporter notes, "I spoke to a few people standing outside and they told me that the pub opened occasionally for events and wasn't closed down as far as they knew. There is a hostel upstairs, which also looked closed. "

This pub was given a beautiful revamp. It has retained lots of the original features and the introduction of atmospheric lighting and chandeliers lend it a look of glamour. The staff are all very friendly.

Fishermans Arms

Built in 1928 in an area of terraced "workers housing". Now catering to a local Portuguese clientele. No real ale. Football on TV, including Portuguese. Pool. Darts. Table football. Table tennis. Smoking area.

Grand Junction Arms

Acton Lane, Harlesden NW10 7AD

Large multi-roomed pub in predominantly industrial area. Large tiered garden for children to play in leading down to the canal. The outside drinking area faces the Grand Union Canal (moorings available) and there is a stage for live events. Front bar has two pool tables and a large screen for sports. Middle bar is more intimate with sofas and doubles as the hotel reception area. Large beamed back bar can hold functions. Music or karaoke may feature on Fridays. Good value food served with various theme nights.

Bridge Park Hotel

A three star hotel near Wembley Stadium with free parking, free Wifi plus a hotel shop, 24 hour reception, and internet cafe. Large lounge bar space offering the standard keg range. It has a range of rooms - from single beds in shared - multi-gender dormitories to private quad rooms. Guests will find tea and coffee making facilities (in private rooms), a colour television, fridge and washbasin inside. If you opt for the slightly more expensive privacy of ensuite, you will also find a bath (in most rooms), shower and toilet. Handy amenities like room service, an iron and board, hairdryer and laundry service are available on request.

2nd Oct 2020 - Blinds down, so couldn't see inside. Looks like it had a recent refurb and new signage. However, someone on twitter commented "it has only recently been done up, so they just might be having a random day off (or isolating)." Irish bar still open January 2014.
