Royal Oak

Purchased Jan '19 by Chris Pitcher, of the award winning Fox and Hounds in Warminster, after being closed by Wadworths a year or so previously. It was fully refurbished and opened on Easter weekend 2019, to the delight of the locals. The Royal Oak is a lovely pub, situated on the western fringe of town. Inside there are several drinking area as well as an outside patio garden. As with most pubs in the group there are always plenty of ciders available as well as at least two real ales. Happy hour is from 2 to4pm weekdays when real ale is £2.50 a pint.

Refurbished during 2020/21 C19 lock-down. A traditional locals pub, in the centre of town where the emphasis is more on cider than beer. One of Frome's older pubs. dating back to at least 1822.
Three Swans

A 17th century, grade II listed, quirky and traditional, two bar pub in the centre of Frome. Extensively refurbished between April 2013 and January 2014, it has a comfortable and inviting feel. The interior is heated by traditional gas burners while paintings and various ornaments adorn the wall. The back door leads out to a beautiful secluded courtyard. There is also a function room upstairs. The two regular beers are supplemented by a single guest, which can be from all over the country.

Frome's first micro-pub, now fully refurbished, serving up to four real ales on hand pump as well as a large range of local ciders. In the slower winter months the beer range might be slightly less. Set in what was a small former café, in the heart of Frome's vibrant St Catherine's District, Just Ales is run by the same team as Just Ales in Wells, including the friendly hound. Homemade Biltong is sold as a quick and tasty snack. The landlord allows customers to consume their own food on the premises.
