A community pub located in residential Eastleigh, with an adjacent parade of shops. The pub is named after the yacht 'Arrow' - owned by local landowner Thomas Chamberlayne and a competitor in the 1851 inaugural America's Cup.

Chalet

3 High Street, Eastleigh SO50 5LB

This pub with a long bar on one side is in the style of a Swiss Chalet, with pine wood panelling, large mountain poster and a light up reindeer. At the rear is a small patio area mainly for smokers. Food consists of sharing platters where the customer chooses from a wide range of cold meats and cheese, plus luxury bar snacks.

Chamberlayne Arms

105 High Street, Eastleigh SO50 5LS

This pub is located just to the south of Eastleigh's Swan Centre. The décor is up-market and modern, yet traditionally styled. Darts and pool complement the sports displayed on many TVs around the pub. Live music is performed occasionally. One beer on rotation selected from Courage Directors; Lancaster Bomber and Ringwood Old Thumper (all from Marston's owned breweries) The main bus station, 530m walking through Swan Centre, has all Eastleigh services.

Cricketers Arms

232 Chestnut Avenue, Eastleigh SO53 3HN

A popular pub (especially in Summer) located on the outskirts of Eastleigh and just under a mile from M27 J5. Very spacious inside with a rustic feel and a long bar with 10 hand pumps. The bar area has comfy seating and wooden barrel tables, whilst to the right is the restaurant area. There is even more seating outside on the patio and garden. There is an extensive menu offering reasonably-priced food.

A large pub on the main road just outside the centre of Eastleigh. Contemporary decor with a large U-shaped bar serving a lounge area to the left and restaurant area to the right. Outside there is extra seating at the front and rear, plus a small garden for children behind the car park. Food is mainly traditional homemade pub fare and the pub opens early for breakfast on Saturdays. All Eastleigh buses available at the bus station 600m away.

An open plan pub, dimly lit with dated decor despite being refurbished in 2016. Patio doors at the front of the pub are opened in good weather onto the only outside seating - a couple of tables on the public pavement. Upstairs is a sports bar, called 'The Fire Box', though sports TV is shown downstairs as well. Food consists of value traditional pub food, including a build-your-own sharing platter.

Railway Institute

2 Romsey Road, Eastleigh SO50 9FE

The main bar of the club is located towards the rear of the premises and has 2 handpulls. In this lounge there are pool tables and dartboards as well as TV screens and a large number of tables and chairs. There is also a large function room with a stage and several other rooms are available for hire. Also featured are two snooker tables and, outside, a six rink bowling green.

Spitfire

Open plan pub with a long bar surrounded by stone flooring. The walls are covered with numerous TVs usually showing football without sound. There are also several gaming machines, a pool table and surprisingly a wood burner (unused). The pub concentrates on serving low priced beer and other alcohol, but has no food.

Confessional Lounge

A craft beer (mainly bottles) and gin bar located on the top floor of the Swan Centre (opposite the cinema). The modern decor inside features semi-circular seating booths with totem pole style wooden pillars. Over 21's only.

Moldy Fig

Pub adjoining the Concorde Club that is fully open to non-members. The entrance is shared with the Concorde Club; turn left after going through the doors to go to the pub. The small bar area has several comfy chairs/sofas with walls covered with memorabilia from the Concorde Club. The main area is a restaurant which leads onto a large decked patio area overlooking the river. A footbridge over the river provides access to a large grassed area with marquee used for functions and the adjoining hotel. The pub sometimes shuts at 6pm on Sundays if hired for private events.

Locomotive Engineers Club

The club is formed of one long room with the entry in the middle. At the right hand is the bar with 3 handpulls which should be fully occupied at weekend but there is less choice during the week. The steward is really enthusiastic about the cask beers on offer. At the front of the area there is a stage and dance floor and live entertainment happens on most weekend evenings.

The club has an L-shaped bar and three handpulls. There is Sports TV and an upstairs snooker room. Live music is offered on Saturday nights and the first Friday of the month from 8pm -11pm

Steam Town Brew Co.

1 Bishopstoke Road, Eastleigh SO50 6AD

A micro brewery & brewery tap which opened in late 2017, though the first beers from the 6-barrel brewery weren't available until end of February 2018. Currently the bar serves a continually changing range of at least 4 cask beers (both national, local and on-site brewed) supplemented by wide range of craft beers on tap. The bar area has an industrial feel with bare brick walls. A railway clock hangs near the bar. The adjoining area is mainly for food which includes a row of table and chairs that come from the first class train compartment with pipework and comic murals of the brewery. Food consists of gourmet burgers. It is also worth a visit to the toilets to see an alternative use for beer kegs! New in Autumn 2021 is an upstairs area which is accessed via industrial steel stairs from the 'lounge'.
