A large airy modern Wetherspoon bar serving a selection of up to seven guest ales, often local. The usual range of JDW craft beer is also well stocked. Situated in Grove Park leisure area, its patio overlooks the Grove House gardens with many bus routes stopping outside. Named after the famous Hollywood star, Gary Cooper, who attended the local grammar school between 1910-13. The pub is very busy on Friday and Saturday nights.
