The stone-flagged room is a quiet haven from the bustle of the town where a good selection of real ales from handpumps and stillage is on offer. This is complemented by ciders from local cidermakers such as East Stour and Broomfield, and a good range of whiskies. A small courtyard garden provides a pleasant place to relax in summer. Traditional local pub situated on the west side of Dover. Inside the central bar is surrounded by a pool room, main bar and a comfortable lounge area complete with leather sofas. Outside there's a garden and at the front a small patio area overlooking the main road. As well as having a skittles alley, there's plenty of activity at the pub including weekly live music events, quiz nights, darts, and pool.
