140 year old grade 2 listed building. A traditional community local. Has a large garden with plenty of seating which is popular in the summer. Diverse mix of regulars ensures lively and friendly conversation. Frequently changing guest beers from local and distant breweries. Bar food is served Thur- Sat. Live bands often play at the weekend and the pub is home to folk music in Chippenham. The pub is a venue for the annual Chippenham Folk Festival.

This popular pub is conveniently situated just off the town centre, near the bus station. Real ales are served in the bistro styled bar, which has a variety of musically influenced photographs on the wall. High quality food is served in either the bar or restaurant, or in the largest pub garden in town, during the summer.

Flying Monk

Re-opened 9/10/19 as "Flying Monk", although no longer any connection with local New Flying Monk brewery. Town centre pub, serving good range of real ales and ciders, as well as Belgian bottled beers.

Kingfisher

Refurbishment completed in May 2017 has given this pub a new lease of life. Still attractive to the local community, but now with a broader appeal due to the newly added food offering. Weekly Bingo nights.

Bridge House

Borough Parade, Chippenham SN15 3WL

Purpose-built modern pub in the Borough Parade shopping centre, off the High Street. It adjoins the River Avon and has outside tables. Although one of the smaller Wetherspoons, it has an upstairs lounge away from the bar which also serves as a function room. In the bar is a panel about US rock and roll pioneer Eddie Cochran who was killed in a road accident at Chippenham whilst on tour in 1960.

Rugby clubhouse bar, located just outside Chippenham's by-pass, but approached via the A420, although there is a more direct route for pedestrians over a footbridge. Note that on First XV match days an entry fee applies. Real cider is kept in the cellar so may not be obviously available. No dogs at any time as this is a sports facility. Can be very busy on Sundays during the rugby season.
