Cannock Social Club

This is an old established club near the centre of Cannock. Located on what was the original site of Cannock Police Station, with the present day cellar being the original cells. A very well presented interior, with a snooker table, stage and a large seating area. This is a very friendly club, and although it is a members club, visitors are very welcome. They have three ever changing ales, chosen from a large list using local breweries as well as breweries from all over the country, and they usually have one on offer.

This Club is one of Cannock Chase oldest, well established venue. Located on Walsall Road, A34. Bridgtown. Normally they don't sell ale from the bar, but private parties and events can request ale to be served. They have two bars, showing sport on seven screens. Plenty of things to do with a crown bowling green to the rear, pool tables, darts and dominos in the bar. Also have a Sunday league football team. Rock nights are held first & third Fridays of the month.

This new venue is Cannock's first Micro Pub, owned and run by Kev Ward and his sons Matt and Jay. This is a friendly pub, no loud music or televisions just good conversation and great beer. Located in the centre of the town. Recently built, one room freshly decorated, with a bar having eight ales and two ciders, cobs are available with the usual snacks. The beers are ever changing with local beers as well as national. Work is still in progress with regards the garden and smoking areas.
St Mary's Social Club

This venue is a long standing Social Club in the Cannock area. As well as adults, families are encouraged to visit. Real ale has recently been introduced and they currently have two pulls on the bar, ever changing. The Club is open plan, with an open plan restaurant at one end, the bar offers traditional games pool table, darts, cards and dominoes. They have modern function room to the rear, serving real ale also. Food is served on Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sunday, but also serve bar snacks at all times, hot and cold. Entertainment most weekends, and on Tuesday evening an open mic night. Large car park to the rear. With a garden area to relax during the summer. This is a very friendly welcoming club.

Cannock's latest Micro Pub, The Arcade, located in the old Arcade Music Shop. Comprises of a front room with main bar and seating area, and has a post industrial theme of exposed brickwork and steelwork, (including Cannock's own illumination hanging over the bar!), leading through to a middle room with modernistic decor, and then into the back room set out more as a comfortable lounge with period furniture from over the decades. The pub currently serves at least two real ales, usually local and ever changing,(and served via a proper temperature controlled cellar!) eight constantly changing craft beers, a good selection of wines, spirits and cocktails, and at the moment they are serving crisps, nuts, and scratching's but considering serving more substantial snacks in the form of cobs. Well behaved children are allowed until 8.30pm, And cardcarrying Camra members get 10% discount. The pub is now open from 7am Monday to Friday, if anyone fancies a coffee or cup of tea.

This town centre pub is located on the original site of the Swan public house, which closed during the 1980's. The Merchant is a modern day pub, open plan in design. Decorated in good taste, pleasing to the eye. With two ales on offer, hopefully five in the future. Food is served every day. Look out for events throughout the year. Cannock bus station is very close.

Whilst situated close to Cannock Chase, this Wetherspoon pub on separate floors is located ideal to the town centre. Handy for the main bus station. Up to eight real ales are sold, including guests from local breweries. The pub name originates from the Builders Merchants that formerly occupied the premises. Historic photographs and prints of Local interest decorate the walls. It can get very lively at Weekends but there are quiet areas away from the main bar.
