This 15th Century pub was re-opened in 2016 after refurbishment by the new owner. Featuring exposed beams and low ceilings, the pub is bright and airy with several areas for eating and drinking including an upstairs dining room, which can be booked for special occasions. The guest ales are normally from local breweries.
Green Dragon

Originally called the Horse and Groom, this is the home of the Green Dragon brewery and is located on the northern edge of town. Its ales are brewed in outbuildings next to the car park at the rear. Seasonal ales are often available. There is a public bar and a spacious lounge with a side room where families are welcome leading to the garden. Occasional live music. Food is now available most days.

Single bar on ground floor in a large room with sofas around a large fireplace with TV on the wall. Function room in cellar. Walls in the cellar room are believed to have been part of Bungay Castle. Under new management as of July 2020.

Under new management as of June 2021. Now primarily a restaurant with limited opening hours as the new tenants settle in. It is hoped that the real ale provision will continue. The front entrance leads to the restaurant with a central bar serving two real ales behind which is a smaller area for drinking and eating, which can also be accessed via the rear entrance from the courtyard garden.

A full food menu is offered to members and guests. The range of ales varies and bar hours change to 12-5 daily between Oct-Mar. The Club has a dress code which is smart casual.
