Beers from local brewers are frequently available plus bottled ciders from Gwynt-y-Ddraig. Often busy during the rugby season, particularly when Wales are playing.

Bottled beers, wines, craft spirits and local artisan produce are available for off-sales.

New addition (August 2020) to the Brecon scene, the Hop In offers two regularly changing real ales, five craft ales on tap and a wide range of bottled and canned beer. An equally impressive range of gins are available, which the knowledgeable staff are happy to advise on. The premises are compact, but manage both ground floor and first floor drinking areas and a small courtyard outside at the rear. Further tables are currently (August 2020) available outside on the pavement.
