A traditional English pub being kept alive by an Indian landlord. The imposing stone building, built in 1898, comprises a large open-plan room with a wrap-around bar to one side. Formerly a Webster's house, it now sells a variety of beers of varying strengths in a relaxing atmosphere. It often stocks at least one ale from a local brewery. A dartboard and TV are located to one end. A variety of live music is played on a Friday night and a DJ plays on Saturday nights. It is within easy reach of the city centre transport network. There is live music on Fridays from 8.30pm. A DJ plays on Saturdays from 8pm.

This bustling city centre pub is an imaginative conversion of a former bank premises opposite the well-known Wool Exchange. Art-deco glass features and wrought ironwork are present throughout. Of particular note is the wrought-iron spiral staircase to the upper drinking area. There are numerous interesting pictures and framed newspaper clippings on the walls. An extension into the adjacent building opened at the end of 2019 and added new upper and lower drinking/eating areas with a modern style. Up to four real ales are available on handpump. Good value food is served all day. Live music often features on a Saturday and jazz on a Sunday. A popular quiz takes place on Wednesday nights. There is a small outdoors seating area to the side which can be used by smokers. Disabled access is possible through a side door.

Multi-award winning traditional freehouse that has featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for more than 30 years. A short distance from the city centre and within easy reach from Forster Square railway station. It used to be called the Wharfe due to its location near to the former Bradford canal and opened its doors for the first time in 1834. It retains the friendly atmosphere of an out-of-town local. An open-plan layout incorporates a games area to one end. There are three regular real ales plus a further five guests, usually from regional breweries and always including a varying dark ale. Good value food is served weekday lunchtimes. It is popular for a pint before Bradford City matches. A collection of over 1000 pumpclips adorn the beams and the jukebox is worth checking out especially if your musical taste veers towards rock and the 80's.

RE-OPENED ON FRIDAY 7th MAY 2021. OPENING TIMES VALID WHEN VISITED ON 13 JULY 2021. Drinkers' paradise in an industrial area, this traditionally-styled freehouse is 20 minutes walk from city centre and close to the bus routes along Thornton Road and Legrams Lane. Multi-award winning, it was CAMRA Branch Pub of the Year 2018 and the Branch Cider Pub of the Year 2019. Its traditional, unpretentious feel appeals to a wide variety of people from loyal locals to well-travelled real ale enthusiasts. Twelve real ales are usually on sale including at least one dark beer. Real ciders are offered, comprising three regulars (sourced from Biddendens and Westons) and two guests with one of these often being a perry. Foreign bottled beers are stocked and good value lunches are served Monday to Saturday. The juke box has an extensive and eclectic choice of music. A large pub garden is located on the opposite side of the street.

Changed hands in August 2017 and now owned by Milton Pubs and Taverns. Whilst the bar has six handpumps for the sale of real ale, invariably, only two or three of them are in use. There is a first-floor function room but the only bar is on the ground floor. The impressive gothic-styled City Hall and the nearby City Park are visible from the front of the pub. Bingo on Thursday and a DJ plays on Friday and Saturday nights. Children are permitted for families ordering meals. Facilities for the disabled are present and guide dogs are permitted.

The Midland Bar is open to the public and located within the Midland Hotel to the left-hand side of the main entrance. As with the rest of the hotel, the single-roomed bar has a grand, ornate feel to it. Of particular note is a large mural, to one end which incorporates lights including a working traffic light! The mural also contains paintings of some of the famous guests to the hotel. Within the bar, the prices for the drinks and food are equivalent to many of the pubs in the surrounding area. A chairlift is provided at the stepped entrance for use by disabled visitors and disabled toilet facilities are in the main lobby of the hotel. Football supporters are welcome.

Located midway between Bradford and Queensbury, this family-run freehouse was originally two 17th century cottages and comprises a lounge and games room. There are real fires during colder periods. The real ales are from local micro-breweries and include a blonde beer and a dark beer. Bottled, imported beers are also offered. One of the outdoor areas has a BBQ and a covered, seated smoking area. The other is elevated and offers magnificent views over and beyond Bradford. The pub supports many sports and games teams. Food is often available for events. Rooms, or the whole pub, can be hired outside of normal trading hours.

This pub is located within a Listed building, originally constructed in 1895, that was formerly the Penny Bank. It was formerly the City Gent pub but re-opening in August 2018 as the Old Penny Bank to reflect its original use. It comprises a relatively large open-plan room with plenty of marble and woodwork and an ornate ceiling. There is an impressive marble fireplace with entrance doors to either side. The bar is located to the rear of the room. The pub can be very busy when the local football team is playing at home. The new opening times are currently awaiting confirmation.

Members club. Laisterdyke Cricket & Athletic Club Ltd was incorporated in Mar 1909. It was the home of Laisterdyke Cricket first and second teams until 2007 when, after several retirements and players leaving, the team had to cede it's membership to the Bradford Central League. The club now hosts teams from other clubs and also hosts friendly matches. Football is now also played at the ground and is home to Northern F.C. of the Bradford Sunday Alliance Premier Division. The club has a snooker room, communal bar area and a lounge area with access to the sports ground. A function room, with stage and access to a kitchen, is available to hire for events.

Opened in May 2016, this Indian-themed bar offers real ale and Indian street food with a twist. Four hand-pumps serve real ale. Thornbridge Jaipur and Bradfield Farmers Blonde are permanent beers and there are varying guest ales usually including one from Saltaire. A further tap is used to serve cider. Indian street food is prepared and sold on the ground floor. The upstairs room, with a large TV showing BT Sports, houses a pool table. Large selection of gins and rums. The pub is popular with football fans especially when Bradford City are playing at home. In the 1960s, this pub was 'Sooty's Shop'. There used to be a little upstairs window sticking out above the entrance where Sooty would turn to and fro waving his magic wand.

The bar gets its name from the legend of a ferocious boar that lived in the woods where Bradford now stands. It comprises a ground floor room with additional seating available in a basement area.
