Orders can be placed at the table or at the bar, the menu includes an extensive list of drinks as well as food. Seasonal and special ales are available but only in KeyKeg.

After a difficult period for the pub they are working to reestablish its reputation and develop is distinctive offering where all are welsome. Initially the music comes from a DJ on Friday and Saturday with a Drag Queen compering the karaoke on Wednesdays.

Estate agents call it the Prime Ministers area and iit is now becoming more desirable. This is very much a community pub, but one where visitors are welcomed There is a weekly quiz on Mondays and occasional music nights.

Pleasant late-Victorian pub in a residential area, a Wells house for its whole 120 years. Beer and cider festivals are held twice a year. The front bar has bare floorboards and an open fire, while there is a separate rear bar. The garden has a gazebo for smokers and a non-smoking paved area. A range of wines is sold by the glass or bottle. Local CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year 2018, Town Pub of the Year 2019 and Branch Pub of the Year 2020 and 2021.

Thoroughly refurbished with a single bar and three separate seating areas, two up a few steps, plus an attractive enclosed garden. This includes two sheltered seating areas. One of the hand pumps is dedicated to the current Wandering Brewer (the nomadic Charles Wells) collaboration beer which changes monthly. There are five keg taps behind the bar, one being for the seasonal Wandering Brewer collaboration.

Keg beers are served in 1/3, 1/2 or 2/3 pint volumes. The selection of beers changes frequently. Real cider is also available on draft. Real Ale is available in Bottles from Local and National Breweries. As well as selling a large selection of wine, some of which can be consumed on site, they have a good selection of spirits with their own bottled ale (RAIB) from Richard at Brewhouse and Kitchen, Bedford. They hold monthly wine tastings which are ticketed.

There is free pool on Tuesday eve, a ukulele band on Wednesday, TV poker on Thursday and live performances by top local bands every Saturday evening. A selection of real bottled beers is available. No food at weekends.
