CAMRA members are welcome as visitors, on production of Membership card or current GBG; the club has a pool table, and two snooker tables. They had a successful Beer festival in 2019 (15 ales), though it looks as though this years planned event will have to be postponed.

The Unicorn has a splendid red tiled roof and dates back to the 18th century. It stocks a range of real ales from breweries such as Woodforde's and Adnams. Food is available at lunchtimes between 12 and 2. A good 'local' with a dartboard and other pub games.

Popular and lively traditional pub with a low ceilinged, comfortable front bar and separate smaller room. Both bars are stuffed with interesting breweriana and other intriguing items. The two guest ales are generally from regional and local brewers.
Black Boys Hotel

The Black Boys, a grade two listed building, parts of which date back to 1655, is one of the most prominent buildings in the market square and has always been an important meeting place in the town. The exterior is decorated with black boys. It also has a claim to fame that once Admiral Nelson danced here. Today the pub is a small hotel with a large public bar at the front, offering a wide ranging food menu and real ales from Woodforde's, Adnams and Greene King are usually available. It has recently been completely refurbished with en-suite accommodation and restaurant. The Bure Valley Railway runs seasonally from Aylsham station not far away.
