Large 17th century free house on the outskirts of town which is well renowned for its food, especially their very popular Aylesbury Duck, which is all prepared on the premises. Although food is very important, the well used bar area shows that drinkers are well provided for. The loos are well worth a visit! The very large garden is partly covered for use by smokers and features a variety of statues and artifacts plus a Roman fountain. Accommodation provided in two boutique style rooms at the pub and a nearby cottage.
