Volunteer Arms

An independent free house situated just off Holgate Road close to the centre of York. The pub has a real community feel whilst being welcoming to all. It has an excellent beer range for a suburban pub, with loyalties firmly with local breweries, emphasising the pub's commitment to LocAle. There are five permanent beers and two ever changing guests. Other features include live blues every Saturday night and a quiz every Sunday night.
