York Pub of the Year 2020, the Slip Inn is an independent free house that’s a thriving community local, with two bars, a snug, and a sheltered courtyard beer garden. A big scheme of investment in the buildings in 2019 has doubled the beer range on the bar and created a dedicated outside festival bar. The pub hosts regular beer festivals and events each year, including one jointly run with The Swan just up the road. The pub supports traditional pub games including darts, dominoes and cribbage.
