Old Gate Inn

Busy country pub dating from the 1600's, off the beaten track and well worth seeking out. The landlord has been at the Old Gate Inn since 1988. The bar and restaurant have exposed timbers and open fires and make a welcoming atmosphere. The bar has six handpulls, serving 3 regular and 3 ever changing beers, usually local. The restaurant offers excellent meals which include fresh fish specialities (no meals Sunday evening). The outdoor area is used for BBQs, music, and Beer & Cider Festivals.
