Friendly local, a short walk or bus ride from the city centre serves a wide range of real ales from Marston's portfolio. The bustling pub with good sports coverage hosts jam nights on Tuesdays, open mic evenings on Wednesdays, live bands on Fridays and Saturdays (also Sunday afternoons in summer). Part of the community, the pub raises money for local and national charities, and is the headquarters of Old Wulfrunians Hockey Club. Cobs are available at the bar.
