Built in 1938, this Grade II listed community local is a rare intact example of a simple inter-war working-class pub, identified by CAMRA as having a nationally important historic pub interior which has retained its original bar, lounge and snug. Darts and dominoes are played and there are TVs showing sport and horse racing. A covered smokers’ shelter and a beer garden provide outdoor areas. Cobs and pork pies are available at all times.
