Olde Dun Cow

Large privately-owned free-house with semi-open-plan interior featuring linked rooms around a central bar counter: a basic 'public bar' area, a step down to a smart lounge, and a step up to a designated dining area. There is also a small secluded snug behind the bar, and a hallway leads to a darts room. 'Home-cooked' food, a la carte plus specials, with a separate Sunday lunch menu. Bar snacks/sandwiches are also available, plus takeaways on Friday evenings. Outdoor drinking on patio at rear, and on lawn, both with picnic tables. There is also a fairly new patio, with more formal tables and chairs, for al fresco dining in summer. Quiz night Tuesday.
