Originally a 14th century coaching inn, this country pub has a large lounge bar, divided into two by a large fireplace, and a separate tap room. The attractive conservatory is especially fine in summer. The small wood panelled restaurant serves an imaginative menu (6pm-9pm) using local ingredients. The bar normally serves three or four beers from the Teme Valley brewery which is located behind the pub. There is a farmer's market outside on the second Sunday of the month. Beer festivals feature in April, June and early October (for Green Hopped beers). Dog and walker-friendly.
