An old pub with a fresh modern feel inside. Named after the visit of Elizabeth I to the village in August, 1575. This is a community pub, owned by 26 local residents who rescued it from closure. The bar has a flagstone floor, timber beams and a roaring fire and normally serves one locally sourced beer. There's a comfortable lounge and a separate dining room. Regular weekly and monthly themed food evenings and two annual beer festivals May and August bank holidays. Cafe open 10 - 4pm Tuesday - Friday and opens 9am Saturday for breakfast. Bus runs 6 days a week, from Pershore en route to Evesham, dropping off at 12:05 and returning at 15:05.
