Small bar tucked in a side road just a few streets away from Leigh town centre which feels more like a social club than a pub. As you enter there is a main room with bar to the right with another room at the back which has a pool table. The Ale House did have a real ale on in 2014, but on recent visits there is not been even a hand pump on show.
