This popular country pub attracts many locals, with a good range of food and beers for diners and drinkers. Eight handpumps in constant use, serving from the Marston's range. The pub runs a ‘Monday Club’ with drinks offers, a weekly quiz on Tuesday, a poker league on Thursday, a monthly cocktail night and live music every Saturday. It is family-friendly with a large ‘beach hut themed’ outside garden area and board games inside the pub. It is very community orientated, running the village scarecrow festival and themed evenings throughout the year
