Pub regularly in The Good Beer Guide. One-room, open-plan cosy pub with a light and airey interior, comfortable seating and a good atmosphere. Original Boddington and Smoke Room windows feature. There are six handpumps with Tetley and Prospect beers as the regulars plus guests. Two TV screens show sport. Located on the edge of Borsdane Wood, a local nature reserve, it makes an ideal refreshment stop. Food is served lunchtimes and evenings, all day at the weekend. Over 18s only.
