Pub in The Good Beer Guide 2014. This recently refurbished freehouse has three hand pumps and normally serves a selection of local beers. There are two real fires to welcome those who visit on winter evenings. A beer graden is located to the rear of the pub and there is a smoking area. There is also a pool table and dartboard. Cabaret entertainment takes place on Friday evenings and karaoke on Saturday. This is a community pub well worth a visit. May be closed on Monday & Wednesday in winter. LocAle accredited.
