That rarest of rare birds - an open-plan pub restored to two rooms. One section has a raised area for karaoke and other 'turns'. The other area is like a vault with dartboard, pool table, and a slate hearth fireplace. Small attractive beer garden at the back, with smoking area. Has covered areas for use as possible stage and or bar, there are plenty of seats & tables. Can be boisterous at weekends. Thursday is pool night with the team playing World Rules pool in Wigan Pool League. Friday & Saturday karaoke, Sundays often has live acts with top acts from around the area. and the local football team meets.
