Pub in The Good Beer Guide several times. This surprisingly large basement pub. From the bar you enter a large back room that features regular entertainment. Live music is performed on Friday and Saturday. Open until very late, it is close to Wigan Wallgate and North Western train stations. Three ciders, one permanent Moorhouses beer and three guest beers. Winner of CAMRA Wigan New Cask Outlet award for 2007 and Pub of the Season Autumn 2007.
