Rising Sun

The village local under family ownership is tastefully decorated, featuring a light and spacious bar area and cosy lounge areas with exposed brickwork and real fires. The beer range is mainly from Yorkshire but with guests from local and national sources. Every Tuesday there is a popular quiz with prizes; also occasional live music advertised on Facebook. There is a large well maintained beer garden with plenty of seating and extensive views over the valley towards Mirfield and Emley Moor.
