Circa 1900. Tall ashlar faced building of 3-storeys and attic with gable end to road, many fancy touches. Originally White Horse Hotel then Fourhorse & Firkin, Until recently a young persons' venue with an appropriate warning name. Autumn 2015 refurbished and re-opened in the style of a Victorian gin palace, with the interior divided up into smaller booths.
