Winter Seam

A comfortable modern former Lloyds No.1 bar which is part of Xscape leisure complex, near also to Freeport Designer Outlet. In Sumer 2016 the premises were refurbished as a Wetherspoon with national cask beers and more regional offerings plus a good varied food menu which can accommodate special dietary requirements. The pub has retained a musical offering that reflects the demography of the evening and weekend customer base of the leisure complex. The Winter or Warren House Seam is a wet coal seam that was mined from local pits. Its fame was the (allegedly) refreshingly sparkling water with which miners were able to fill their Dudleys.
