Major works completed in April 2008 and now an eaterie. Minimalist decor in the large bar designed for pub dining. The pub taking its name form the impliments used in a battle between gypsys. Formally the Nelson which was in the cottage next door, the pub sign is still on display over the fireplace in what was previously the public bar. Large garden overlooking countryside. Homecooked and homemade food available.
