Rare outlet for McMullen's beers in west Hertfordshire, up the road from affluent Heronsgate and along the route of the Old Shire Lane Walk. The pub has a separate restaurant area for meals, which can also be taken in the bar. Dogs are allowed, but only in the bar area.
