Three Horseshoes

Pub under new management since late 2015. A beer house since the 18th century, the earliest part of the building is the 16th century timber hall with its 17th century frontage. Substantial reconstruction took place in 1803. The pub has featured in films and numerous TV programmes since the 1920s. Facing the common and pond it has a flagstoned public bar and oak-beamed lounge now redecorated with local photographs. There is a large garden for good weather.
