The clubhouse is being redeveloped with the intention of moving the bar to a new first floor extension. Drinks are currently being served from the old function room (home of the Watford Beer Festival). A former CAMRA National Club of the Year, and a regular CAMRA's East Anglian Club of the Year, the club grounds were the site of Watford FC's first ground. Up to 4 guest beers are served. Darts, dominoes and cribbage are played. Entry restricted to club members, card-carrying CAMRA members, or customers carrying the current Good Beer Guide. Non club members may need to sign-in and are only allowed entry 4 times a year.
