A Lloyd's No. 1 bar whose name refers to a press used to print newspapers, including the first edition of the Watford Observer. A surprisingly relaxed oasis for the ale drinker during the day that becomes part of the Watford High Street bar scene in the evening. The pub has increased its real ale range and now has 10 handpumps with changing guest ales on each. In common with other Wetherspoon's sites it has a licence to sell from very early in the morning. Food is served all day. Families welcome until 8pm. No dogs except guide dogs.
