At one time the Frigate and before that the Cranbourne pub, a Watney's Schooner Inn combining pub and steak-house with a fantasy-themed styling. The site is Grade II listed. In its current incarnation it is very much a party venue for a young clientele, with a smallish ground-floor bar and a more extensive basement bar and club area. A varied food offering includes sandwiches and a bar-food menu plus more substantial fare. Note door charges apply after 10pm Thursday and after 9pm Friday & Saturday. Real ale installed in 2019.
