Substantially renovated in 2011, with a modern theme, the pub has a curved servery, bare flooring and plain glass mirrors on the ground floor. The upstairs bar can be booked for private functions. The present building with its upper ornate stucco (more shades of grey than white) frontage was rebuilt in 1897 and is Grade II listed.
