Helter Skelter

A local branch award winner this single-roomed bar offers three regular cask ales alongside seven more handpumps serving an ever-changing range of guest beers, mainly from local and national micros. Two rotating guest ciders and a selection of imported bottled beers are also available. The relaxed atmosphere attracts both local folk and travellers as friendly conversation among discerning real ale enthusiasts abounds. Excellent home-cooked food is served all day in the bar and in the restaurant above. On Sunday evenings an informal folk band plays music upstairs.
