Nestling in the quaint village of Lower Peover, the cobble-fronted Crown provides quality food and drink in relaxed surroundings and you can enjoy dinner on the patio in the summer months. The 17th Century Crown prides itself on offering a range of three cask ales, always including the popular Timothy Taylor Landlord, complemented by a Wednesday to Sunday menu of mouth-watering home-made traditional food plus award-winning pies from the Great North Pie Company. Three rooms with low ceilings cluster round a central bar and an open fire and a log burner make for a warm and welcoming traditional country pub. Well-behaved children and dogs are welcome. There is plenty of parking space and the Crown ticks a lot of boxes, offering Monday darts, Tuesday quiz nights, live music once a month, an 'open mic' night on the second Thursday of every month, the traditional local Gooseberry Competitions on the last Saturday in July and first Saturday in August and even hosts its own music festival in mid-July.
