Now operated by the McGrath family since 2017. The McGraths have good experience, having run the Fool’s Nook and The Hanging Gate, both near Macclesfield. Externally, a wash-and-brush-up has benefited the exterior, and new signage with modern fonts completes the look. Open-plan in the main ground-floor bar and restaurant area, mostly exposed beams and dark wood. Buzzy and busy, especially at the weekends, with good business in the restaurant and at the bar. There is a good-sized outdoor seating area to the rear.
