A friendly and welcoming country cottage style road house this was a farmhouse in the 17th Century. It had a major refurbishment in 2018 after a fire in the cellar. It has a snug, a bar and separate restaurant at the rear of the building, catering for a total of fifty covers. Comfortable and welcoming with low beams, settles and a log burner. There is a patio at the front and a beer garden to the rear. Home-cooked evening meals are served Tuesday to Saturday prepared from locally-sourced ingredients. New outside courtyard.
