This former Tetley house was bought by Robinson's in 2009, and refurbished to a very high standard late 2012. It is now operated by the Broadoak Pub Company. Now open plan, it retains plenty of separate areas and has an orangery overlooking the patio and landscaped gardens. Although the pub is very much food-led, 9 hand pumps dispense a wide range of Robinson's beers. 3 real fires and great decor make for a nice winter pub and the new garden and play area is of great use during the summer. Parts of the garden can be hired for marquees. Local walks leaflet available on website.
