New build pub opened January 2008, positioned just off the A179 Hart Road about a mile east of Hart Village, and adjacent to a very large housing estate. This Ember Inns pub commands excellent views overlooking Tees Bay, so no doubt a good place to have watched the tall ships arrival in August 2010. Cask beer availability varies, especially midweek.
