1620 the year two sailing ships, The Mayflower & Speedwell, left Dartmouth for faraway shores with t​he first settlers to cross the Atlantic. Just off the south embankment river front, Bar 1620 is housed in the original post office sorting office, It is a mecca for all things cocktail, spirit, wine & beer related, also serving ice cold lagers, IPA’s and cider on keg, along with a selection of ​bottled craft beers from around the world. The bar is available for private functions. A regular house DJ plus live music, funk, jazz, an eclectic mix.
