The Royal Oak is a quintessential village inn, an attractive Grade II listed building believed to date back to the 18th Century. The freehouse reopened in 2021 under the new management of two local brothers. The pub serves up to four real ales and excellent food, both often locally sourced. The Oak is popular with locals and visitors alike. Events include quizzes and occasional live music. Warmed by two open fires, the pub has real character with friendly staff and is very welcoming. In addition to the bar area there is a separate dining area. There is an extensive garden area for outdoor eating and drinking.
