The Bear Inn at Hodnet reopened in August 2021 following a refurbishment. It is run by Martin and Mel, who also run The Haughmond at Upton Magna near Shrewsbury, as a food-led business and with some local real ales on offer. Sunday lunch service is only on the first Sunday of there month.
